RCIA is available for people age seven to adult and at any stage of spiritual development.
RCIA for Adults
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process for adults who, “after
hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living
God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their
hearts.” Through the gradual process of prayer, worship, listening, reflection,
and study adults are led into the Roman Catholic tradition for the living out
of their Christian lives. The entire parish community helps support the catechumens
and candidates throughout the process by prayer and worship and in particular
ways as sponsors and team members.The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
meets weekly on Wednesdays (alternate weeks during the summer months).
