Sponsors for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

It is essential for catechumens and candidates in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults process to each have a sponsor who will be able to journey with them during their conversion. Attending sessions, developing relationship as a companion, and prayerful support are part of being a sponsor.

Adult Confirmation Program (ACP)

Catholics who choose not to be confirmed in their high school years, are afforded the opportunity to engage in and complete the process for Confirmation through the ACP. Parishioners help by being sponsors for these candidates, by their prayerful support, or by being an ACP team member.

Men's Group

Several men from the parish meet on the first Wednesday of every month. They attend Mass at 5:15 pm and then go to the Grand Traverse Pie Company where they have dinner and discuss certain readings. They have reviewed the writings of Franciscan priest, Richard Rohr, and are currently following a study of scripture designed for men as set out in the Serendipity Bible. Anyone interested in learning more about the group should contact Greg Carter at 765-832-3196 or at gregocart@aol.com.
