Thanks to everyone who helped with the St. Francis Christmas Birdseed project: to Katie, who obtained the little brown bags from Ambucare; to Carlos, who funded the photo labels; Mary Jane, Will, Katie, Cloetta, Pat, Chris Holmes and Chris Hugar, who went into the classrooms and worked with the children; and Chris and Jim Holmes, who bagged, sealed and labeled 200 plus bags with Sandy for the rest of the CCD elementary children and the parish; and to Fr. Paul, who helped to publicize the event. Also, we thank John at Graham Grain, and Katie for providing birdseed aplenty.
We also thank Elizabeth Davis, CCD director, and all the teachers who invited us in to tell the story of St. Francis and the first Creche and how St. Francis liked to feed the birds on Christmas.
